The Orville has replaced Star Trek

Star Trek since the end of DS9 has become some kind of watered down version of Star Wars. Which is fitting, since it seems that the producers of the show[s] don't "get" Roddenberry's vision.

The Orville has replaced Star Trek

The first time i watched The Orville, I hated it, stopped watching after two episodes of season 1 and then forgot about it. Last summer (2022) I checked it out, as I was bored and curious, and decided to watch all published episodes.

Soon I realized that Seth Macfarlane seems to “get” Roddenberry’s vision, and to have taken off where Star Trek died. Perhaps this is the reason that Hollywood social engineers haven’t published a new season (4).

They hate what Roddenberry wanted to accomplish.

Which is a funny thing, because Roddenberry sold you the Davos agenda. Everything coming out of Davos Marxism, is Star Trek.
